Maximilian, who grew up in Varel on the North Sea coast, studied international business administration at the University of Vienna, during which time he successfully founded the start-ups updoon and UNUYA and gained valuable experience as co-founder of Airspott.
After graduating, Maximilian became a doctoral student and project manager at the Institute for Technology Management at the University of St. Gallen. There he initiated the Ecosystem Living Lab, specializing in innovation management, business model innovation, platforms and ecosystems. In these areas, he works closely with global companies, develops business ideas and optimizes strategies in the age of digital transformation.
Maximilian is currently a Founding Partner in consulting and service companies such as flound., Dr. Böger & Partner and Business Model Ideas. He is also an angel investor at Transalpine Ventures, an advisory board member of startups (e.g. Moonshot Pirates) and a member of the academic jury of the St. Gallen Symposium. He shares his knowledge as a lecturer at universities, including the New Design University St. Pölten and the University of St. Gallen.
