sense

Mittelstands- und Wirtschaftsunion Wilhelmshaven

In a collaboration between Windhorst Immobilien and Römer BioTec® GmbH from Wilhelmshaven, the transformative sense. workshop on the use of AI in companies was successfully held. Discover how this initiative not only equipped decision-makers with the necessary knowledge, but also paved the way for the application and implementation of their own AI applications.

"It gave me the tools to actually deal with it and work with it."

MANAGING DIRECTOR OF RÖMER BIOTEC GMBH

What we have achieved with the companies

Initial situation:

The participating companies, both members of MIT WILHELMSHAVEN-FRIESLAND, faced a common challenge: despite the growing interest in integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into their business processes, they lacked a fundamental knowledge base for the use of AI. The desire to understand AI technologies, develop their own generative pretrained transformer (GPT) models and train them with in-house data was at the heart of their endeavor, without knowing where to start.

Objective:

The main goal of the sense. workshop was to create a solid knowledge base about AI and its possible applications among the participating companies. In addition, the participants should be enabled to develop their own ideas for the application of AI in their company as well as to lay the foundations for the creation and implementation of their own GPTs for their companies.

Result:

The response was very positive: all participants achieved the goals they had set, not only learning about the current possibilities and limitations of using AI in their company, but also gaining insights into how to create their own GPTs.

This experience provides a sound basis for future decisions regarding the use of AI. With the newly created GPTs, they can now use their own data more effectively and further develop these models. flound. has established itself as a reliable partner and will provide support for future implementation and any questions that arise.
