Initial situation:

At Stadtsparkasse Düsseldorf, there was a desire to deepen the knowledge and application possibilities of spatial computing, especially in connection with the Apple Vision Pro glasses. Above all, it was of interest to explore how this technology could be used effectively in the financial sector in order to map topics such as customer interaction and internal workflows.

The challenge was to develop a deep understanding of this innovative technology among all participants while identifying practical use cases.

Objective:

The main objective of the workshop was to introduce participants to spatial computing using Apple Vision Pro glasses and to demonstrate its potential for the financial sector. During an intensive day, we not only wanted to convey a theoretical understanding of the technology, but also to lay the foundation for innovative ideas for implementation in the savings bank's business environment through practical and personal experience with the XR glasses.

Result:

The sense. Workshop met with an enthusiastic response from the participants. Through a combination of inspiring keynote speeches, intensive testing phases of the Apple Vision Pro glasses and creative ideation sessions, a common understanding of spatial computing was created.

Not only were specific use cases for the financial sector discussed, but the added value for efficiency and customer interaction through the use of this technology was also recognized. The participants, including experienced VR, AR and XR glasses users, were surprised and inspired by the performance and possibilities of the Apple Vision Pro glasses.

Despite the fact that the Apple Vision Pro glasses are not yet available in Europe, flound. made it possible for the participants to test them exclusively and without complicated import to Germany and setup with US Apple ID in advance.

In lively discussions, ideas for implementing spatial computing in the financial sector were developed, ranging from enhanced customer interaction options to increased efficiency in the workflow.

Stadtsparkasse Düsseldorf is now planning to sharpen its strategic focus on the basis of the findings and ideas developed and, in flound., has a strong partner for the further development and implementation of spatial computing within the savings bank.
